A collaboration with &Fold Studio on a couple’s live work space in Chelsea. This project had very sparse and intentional moments of light. Dramatic coves were incorporated to make the space feel larger. Task light is embedded into the millwork to highlight the objects and call attention to the back walls (vertical surfaces). Surface mounted mono-points were used as core lighting to add pop and maintain high ceilings throughout.

Bright Architecture was tasked with developing a circuit fitness concept. The retail and locker room spaces were to feel airy and modern, while the studio was intended to feel intensely dramatic.

This fitness studio is a serene refuge from this hustling city. To achieve this vibe, lighting is concealed from direct view and is used to paint architectural moments and materials with its warm glow.

This workspace utilizes architectural lighting to blanket the space with light, while punctuating design moments with charming black decorative pendants.

The integration of custom millwork lighting into the existing framework of the townhouse allows for selective texture and materiality to be celebrated against a white, bright backdrop. Coves are used throughout to add layers of lighting and create focal points. The downlighting is intentionally minimal, and targeted toward vertical surfaces and major millwork pieces.

A private wellness studio in the heart of the financial district was designed to be a peaceful location. The lighting used was driven by indirect coves and soft glowing light to inspire the visitors relax.

Wondrian studios created a transitional style single family home focused on highlighting the owners’ art. The down lights are able to protrude from the ceiling to adjust towards the vertical surfaces. So as the art changes, the fixtures themselves can transform to perfectly light the artwork.

A collaboration between some of the top names in fitness, Drop is the latest wellness brand in The Cosine’s portfolio. The project was designed to stay true to each individual brand’s aesthetic while keeping members connected through a shared open work out space, cafe and locker rooms.

This 60,000 sq ft commercial space is home to an established data and security firm. Lighting was used to break up the expansive spaces and give each area it’s own unique feel.
